ENTERTAINMENT/WELLBEING
Context
There is a lack of comprehensive information about dance events in general, with details often dispersed across various social media platforms, making it challenging, particularly for beginners, to find relevant information. Currently, there is no centralized platform that consolidates information about dancing events, highlighting the need for a dedicated solution to address this information gap

Workshops
Initial workshops that helped during the discovery phase of the project: Assumption Matrix, Persona Template or Customer Journey.
Discussion Guides and User interviews
User interviews usually happen over Zoom and can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what we’re looking to learn and how much time the participant has. We might have a few different discussion guides ready, based on who we’re talking to.
Participant Takeaways
Extracting the quotes from the interview and organize them under the topics laid out in the initial discussion guides.
Affinity Mapping
Sorting information depending on identified clusters from the interviews.
Validating Insights
Synthesising new insights from research and compare them to our initial assumptions. Afterwards, we establish what are our user needs are.

Wireframes
We narrowed down our research to focus on key functionalities such as the My Dashboard, Event Page, Filtering System, Class Page, and Instructor Page. Initially, we prioritized these core features to streamline development. Later, we enhanced the app by adding functionality that allows users to populate it with their own content, further enriching the user experience.

Valided initial insights
Our initial research and testing effectively validated key insights, confirming the direction for the product design. This foundation has ensured alignment with user needs and market demands, setting the stage for successful development.
Positive User Feedback
User testing yielded overwhelmingly positive feedback, affirming that our design choices resonated well with the target audience. This feedback reinforces our confidence in the product's potential success.
Growing User Base
As we approach the final stages of app development, we are seeing our user base grow steadily, with 50 active users already engaged. This early traction is a promising indicator of the app's potential success and market acceptance.
