Hesitation is a song about self-doubt and the struggle to trust oneself.
The lyrics explore the idea of looking at oneself through the eyes of others, relying on others to tell us how to feel and think. We get into a state of uncertainty, not knowing who to trust or if they can rely on their own instincts.

The song serves as a reminder people to start trusting their gut and to be more aligned with themselves.The song also touches on the desire for intimacy, but raises the question of whether intimacy can truly be achieved when one is disconnected from themselves.

ANCU is the fresh avant-electro pop project led by Anca Stirbacu.

Formerly known as Hipdiebattery, Anca has established herself as one of the bravest female electronic acts in Bucharest at that time. Her journey began in 2010,where she shared the stage with notable artists like Nadja, Keep Shelly from Athens, Pictureplane, Jacques Greene, Evian Christ, Holy Other, Le1f, and others. After a 10-year hiatus, she is reinventing herself by infusing pop into her experimental approach to explore the inner depths of her world.
